In the reception hall of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 33 personal appointments were held, as it were planned before. It was announced by The Citizens´ Applications Office.

In the whole during the work of the second session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of The Sixth Convocation (February-July 2008) 389 issues, that is on 52issues more than during the work of the third session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of The Fifth Convocation, that is February-July 2007, were raised by the visitors on these appointments.

Thematic analysis of  citizens´ appellations and complaints affirms that the quantity of  appellations on social protection and citizens´ retirement planning has raised more than twice (from 48 issues in February-July 2007 to 105 in February-July 2008).

The majority of visitors of  declining years deem that the state provides the retirement planning not fully and  demand the establishing of the social equality. For the given period 38 issues on this problem (36,2% from the total quantity of appellations) were received.

 The propositions regarding the necessity of  submitting the amendments to the effective pension law 34 (32,4), issues on the pecuniary aid 15 (14,3%) were raised by the applicants.

The quantity of applications regarding the labor problems has raise considerably in comparison with the same working period of The Rada of Ukraine of previous Convocation. Thus during the personal appointments in February-July 2008 22 of them(5,7%) against 10 received in February-July 2007 were sent.

The quantity of applications regarding the activity of  local self-government bodies has also raised (18 issues in February-July 2008, in February-July 2007 - 9)
